“You have a new title. Paq’o ” – a soul healer. Thanks for helping me find and heal my soul. HUGE step forward in the family area. Who would have thought almost five years ago I’d be moving into my own home one month from now? Talk about gratitude …….. I saw a quote today and immediately thought of you:
‘We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that something deep inside of us is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.’ ~e.e. cummings
I have been blessed. I want to let you know I could not have made the changes in my life without your help. You have been the biggest gift in my healing. Thank you for being part of my journey.”
"When I first started therapy with Jillian at age 49, I was in significant emotional pain. I’d been in “talk therapy” for decades, but that therapy had failed to address the childhood trauma that was still held in my body. I still became triggered, anxious, fearful, and overwhelmed in response to even minor stresses or interpersonal conflicts. A mentor suggested “trauma therapy” and advised me to find a therapist who would work “with the body, not just the mind.” A few weeks later, I walked into Jillian’s office for the first time. I immediately, instinctively knew, “Jillian can help me. I can trust her.” I have a history of childhood neglect, sexual abuse, and physical abuse. I worked with Jillian for two years to gradually release the trauma, rediscover my inner strength, and regulate my system. Jillian is an expert at working with the wounds of trauma, and therapy with her unfolds at a steady, safe, and manageable pace. As a result of the work we did together, I have undergone a transformation. I now embrace life. I want to participate in the world. I have healthy boundaries, and I can stand up for myself and be open-hearted with others. Jillian has a divine gift for healing, and is empathic, gentle, patient, loving, aware, and present. She never stopped believing in my innate capacity to find my way back to my heart and my wholeness. Jillian is a gift and a light in the world."
"Working with Jillian has been an incredible journey. I came to her to work with complex PTSD from years of abuse, neglect, and great difficulty managing my life. Her approach is loving, compassionate, and kind, supported by training and education in specific techniques that contributed to a tremendous amount of healing. Through our work together I experienced feelings that I had longed for all my life, such as freedom, safety, confidence, and security. I am a changed woman and have had many moments throughout our time together where I was in actual disbelief that I could experience the peace within myself that I have found. Jillian is a gifted healer and wonderful person who provides a nurturing and safe environment to explore oneself."
"The best thing about getting counseling with Jillian (besides the fact that she's brilliant in her knowledge on attachment and Somatic Experiencing and a bunch of other trauma modalities) is the way she lovingly pays attention to my needs and makes comforting, appropriate responses that guide me to growth. She is present, attuned, creates a deep resonance interpersonally, and over time, the trust that's developed has buoyed my heart toward forgiveness of my past, vitality, and hope. If you're thinking about trying therapy consider yourself lucky to get her! I am so grateful for her care and expertise."
“I saw Jillian in her professional capacity regularly for 15 months, first to deal with an addiction issue and then to help clear childhood trauma. Her compassionate intelligence, intuitive understanding and array of techniques was instrumental in overcoming lifelong issues of self worth, obsession, and negative consequences. I credit the progress I was able to make with her for the happy, successful, and productive life I am grateful to have today. I highly recommend her services if you are ready to have your life change for the better.”
~Hal Bahr, C.A.P.
“I had the privilege to work with Jillian on two fronts, recovering from my addiction of substance abuse and facing the lasting trauma from serving in the Iraq War in 2003. I spent many years in therapy trying to tame the effects of PTSD. Jillian’s approach of facing trauma with Somatic Experiencing was not only new to me, but the safest, most effective treatment of reliving aspects of combat that I numbed for almost 15 years.
With weekly intensive, mindful sessions, Jillian empowered me to examine aspects of my Self in order to grow feeling secure enough to not use alcohol or drugs. The lasting effects of war will never fully go away, but through the Integrated Therapeutic approach of working with Jillian, today I carry myself with confidence that I can remain safe, sober and sane. Jillian not only changed my life, she saved it.”
~Jesse Villanueva, USMC, Veteran
“In times of need, if you ask God for favor, he will grant it to you. I truly believe that God put Jillian in my life at exact time that I needed her. Arriving spiritually broken and suffering from alcohol abuse, Jillian taught me the tools I would need for a lifetime of recovery. I use these tools on a daily basis and I’ve been alcohol free for almost 8 months! Life has not always been pleasant or easy in sobriety but Jillian has taught me to live in the present and not be paralyzed by fear."

“When I want to make a referral to Sonoma County Jillian Beckham is one of the first people I think of. She is both highly competent, and highly sensitive and attuned to the clients she works with. She has studied the best of the current therapies that work extremely well at creating lasting change and growth in people. And equally important to that, is that she is a kind and loving human being who knows how to make people feel safe and welcome.”
~Neal Winblad, MFT, Lead Assistant, Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute
"Jillian was one of my counselors when I was a guest at Duffy’s. She helped me with grounding myself with a greater understanding of my higher power and gently helped me on to the path toward becoming my authentic self. Later when I started working at Duffy’s Napa Valley, I witnessed Jillian do the same and more for so many people. Jillian is a caring and supportive soul who joins with her clients in what seems to be an unconditional way. I highly recommend her."

“Jillian, I am still in awe of the breakthrough I made about my lifelong anxiety in just one session with you. I felt myself drop into another part of me, a wise and loving part that I did not know or remember I even had. I never really understood what my Higher Self felt like until now. It seemed like I crossed a threshold that I have never reached before with years of therapy and meditation. I am so grateful that I was guided to you; something deep in me has shifted and I am filled with relief and hope. I can’t wait for our next session! THANK YOU!”
